With lots of new followers over the past couple of months and some time since my last formal (re)introduction, I wanted to take a minute to tell you a little about myself & how my small business went from dream to reality. ❤️

Hi, I’m Ashley - the owner and founder of The Love of Order! Born and raised in sunny central Florida as an only child, I learned early on how much a peaceful, well-loved home can shape a person. I’m saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and He’s been guiding my steps every season since - including the one where I met my husband on eHarmony… back before online dating was even “a thing.”

Today I’m a mom to Jack, Kate, and June - high school, middle school, and elementary - which means life is full, loud, and keeps me on my toes in the very best ways. Along the way, we’ve built two custom homes, raised our babies, and I’ve honed my homemaking style through both the beautiful chaos and the sweet, ordinary moments.

🏠 In 2016, our family moved to Louisville, bought five acres, and even built a barn so we could keep our horses at home - one of our biggest dreams come true. I’ve gone from stay-at-home mom, to fitness instructor, to professional organizer, and now I get to do what I love with people I love… for clients I truly adore.

I believe everything can have a place - without your home feeling like a museum or a magazine. It should feel lived in, loved, and uniquely yours.

    1. Your system might be too complicated – categories that are too broad OR too specific aren’t flexible. If it’s too hard for your youngest kiddo or your spouse, there’s too many steps or it takes too long to reset, it’s time to revisit HOW these areas can function better. There’s a way to find the happy balance. 😉

    2. Your inventory needs to be intentional – drawers overflowing, books stacked sky high, spices expired the same year you graduated high school means it’s time for some honest conversations with yourself about what’s truly important and serving you well. Trust me, friend, you probably won’t miss it when it’s gone. 🙃

    3. Your maintenance needs to be simplified — ideally a tidy reset is happening regularly and frequently. Even just 10 minutes a night will help you stay caught up. Build this into your nightly routine so it becomes a habit and something you don’t want to live without. ❤️

On a recent team member interview, I was asked “what makes working with Ashley different than other professional organizers?” 🤔

Wow‼️What an incredible question! But also, whoa! I wasn’t expecting that. 🙈 The funny thing is, as caught off guard as I was by the question the answer flowed smoothly out of my mouth because the honest answer is something I witness inside EVERY client home. ⬇️
